I'm from alappuzha District in Kerala, India. None of the banks are giving credit card in Alappuzha? My application got rejected in SBI(I have my salary account there), ICICI, HDFC, Axis(Formerly UTI), and now Morgan stanley.
SBI havent issued any cards to people who have permanent address outside the ernakulam District (yeah, I do work in Ernakulam). Others juz say because of internal policies. Where can I get one card in Alappuzha?

Thats a strange problem indeed. They should specially consider this matter and issue you a credit card. Did u try other banks other than these?
Yeah dear, I tried almost all banks in here.
Maybe you should try one of the online only banks.
How is it possible that Morgan Stanley too is not offering credit card as I have a Credit Card of this bank indeed!

Are you sure it's because you are in Alleppey. I've learned that they dont give CCs to certain places in Alleppey, but those "blackout" places are in TVM and COC as well. That's due to a bad history with clients there.
I'm sure if you'll approach SBI through your office, which you said is in EKM, you'd be able to get one.
Im surprised to see this cos, everyone I've seen is either shooing away CC guys or have more than one CC.
