Story of pagerank, blogger, wordpress and more..

A couple of years ago the most important thing around for webmasters was how to increase Google page rank or PR. In those times, I was also in constant search for articles around the internet by using keywords like "how to increase the PR", "Increase the Page rank" etc. Occasionally I used to search for "Increase the Alexa ranking" keywords too. I was able to increase my page rank(maximum of 5 for a short duration) and increase my Alexa score to the range of 2,00,000. After that I migrated my blog to Wordpress, tried Drupal, again to Wordpress and then back here to blogger. if there wasn't a DB migration at my host side, i wouldn't have got my articles deleted in Wordpress and i wouldn't have came back to blogger. Every thing happened for good(courtesy: Bhagavat Geetha).
Last day when i migrated my page rank was 2 and this day its updated and is now 4! err.. What's happening Google?
What is left? I now have a mission in Hand, to migrate my blog sqaguy to blogger. i think I'll loose my articles in sqa blog.. wanna try all the options..

Kottamkulangara - Temple and more

My native is kottamkulangara. Half a kilometer away from Punnamada(the famous Nehru Trophy Snake boat race starting point. A site for kottamkulangara Temple was my dream and it got realised last day. Backlinkspot : Building the backlinks!

For the last few days, on my stats, i could see some traffic from a site called “backlinkspot”. So i just check the same and found that its working like a search engine.. using Google as its base.. (like the custom search.) when you enter the keyword and search for the same, it retrieves blogs, in which you can comment and those comments yield you a back link :D.

PR 4 in less than two months - Long way to go.!

This morning I found that my blog have gained some PR. In less than a couple of months time. Isn't that cool?

A PR of 4 with some back links. So i doubts.. Is there some thing called sand box effect? I dont think so.

The first step will be adding to google index and adding a sitemap.

then u can add you url to google index by going to http://google.com/addurl
Burn it
Use any feed service of your choice. (Eg: feed burner)

Add to directories and refer the post to increase the traffic

submit to yahoo and msn .
